29th Oct - Tak -> Chiang Mai

Up early in Tak to start the drive to Chiang Mai. Skipped the spaghetti carbonara at breakfast and chose,the much more reasonable, chicken in black bean sauce with sticky rice. 300km to cover today, we'd like to do that by early afternoon. As we were well on schedule we made a short stop at the Elephant Conservation Centre before arriving at the hotel. Chiang Mai is the old capitol of Thailand and has loads of amazing temples to visit. Back to the hotel for a quick dip in the pool and a nap, then off out to the night market.
